FF Retrospective: Final Fantasy V

Now before we talk about this game, I just wanna let you know a few things about my relationship with this game. My first introduction to Final Fantasy V was via the Anthology Collection via the PS1 and while the game did play out just fine, the awful Japanese to English Translation (thanks Squenix for canceling the Snes port before Ted Woolsey was finished), the EXCESSIVE load times and (I don't know if this happened to anyone else) graphical glitches from time to time... yeah, Final Fantasy V didn't make it anywhere close to the top of my favorite FF games list!
So yeah, it goes w/o saying that I hate FF V... however, after playing this game via the Pixel Remaster ver. during this year's Four Job Fiesta, I've learned that all of the QoL changes did turn my opinion around. It's still not in my top 5 list, but it found a way how to climb up from the bottom of the list at least. But enough about my personal experience about this game, this is Final Fantasy V!
Much like with the original FF game way back on the NES, the world depends on the crystals to sustain life. But when the Wind Crystal shatters, four people come together to save the remaining crystals from shattering (or if that can't be done, at least do battle against an evil tyrant bent on destroying a multitude of worlds)! Enter Butz/Bartz: a wandering youth who honors his father's request to see the world where the wind calls out to him, Reina/Lenna: Princess of Tycoon who's in search of her father who went to examine the Wind Crystal, Galuf: an old man on a mission to save the crystals (and may not be a part of this world) and Faris: A rough and tough pirate captain who may have ties to royalty!
