You can't use magic in this battle, this leaves me with Attack, Hide and Call available for my team. Minotaur can counter any physical attack with one of him, and Call is treat as a physical attack. Minotaur is also immune to all status (including Haste and Regen).

Faris can't fight him since I can't beat Omniscient with only Lenna and Krile (Comet and Reflect Rings are my only ways to deal damages, but Omniscient starts the fight with Regen and he has 16999 HP).

Even with Faris, Golem can only take 2 or 3 hits, so it's pretty much impossible to rely on summoning him with Call. So without Golem, the only other way to survive is to dodge these attacks, and that's why I got the Genji Shield.

Now let's do some math :

Genji Shield & Mini Status give Bartz the maximum evade (99%)
The Dancing Dagger is the best weapon with Mini status
The Lamia's Tiara replace any Tempting Tango by Sword Dance, to give the Dancing Dagger an average of 41 damage per hit
Mirage Vest allows us to take one hit
The Hermes Sandals give Haste status

Minotaur has 19850 HP, so Bartz must hit him 484 times.
Minotaur counters 1/3 attacks, and he is little bit faster than Bartz (without Haste), so Bartz must dodge around 400 attacks (but he is allow to miss one dodge)

This gives us around 9% of success, which is not bad at all (and without the Genji Shield, odds are below 0,00001%)
