Traveling through the Phoenix Cave is mostly about playing my cards right to avoid the inescapable Phase encounters. I want to run into randoms in the lava areas, since there are no Phases there. This could mean triggering an encounter in these areas deliberately sometimes to make sure the encounter doesn't come up when I'm in the cave portion. I also want to walk through as much of the cave areas as possible with Mog (and his handy Moogle Charm), and leave Mog on the Save Point for as long as possible to save scum the Phase encounters away.

When all's said and done, the only insecure parts are:
-Getting Gogo from the entrance to the first exit on the right. This is a reasonably long stretch but it's right next to the start, so it doesn't matter.
-A short trip around through the cave room at the end of this segment.
-Walking Gogo from one switch to the other in the next segment (also really short, but also right next to the end).
