Killing him involves the same strategy I used against the White Dragon: throw a Super Ball, and mimic it until he dies. But first, I have to run him out of his enormous 54,321 MP! To survive for that long, we need some SERIOUS MBlock....

Gogo's normal equips alone won't get him above 100 MBlock, so I use the Merit Award here. There are four spells that Gogo needs to block: Doom, X-Zone, W Wind (because it inflicts seizure, and he has no Ribbon on for this fight), and reflected Flare spells. Everything else is either negated or absorbed, or in the case of Quake, just outright misses thanks to Cherub Down. As for my party choice, while the only reason I brought Mog was for Moogle Charm purposes, the reason I brought Edgar and Celes is because I can get perfect or near-perfect MBlock%'s on them. Well, Edgar has like 141 MBlock, while Celes has 119; partially why she went down during the fight. Gogo himself has around the same as Celes. Edgar, on the other hand, can block everything Magimaster does, and, with Cherub Down on, avoids Quake as well. So Edgar is practically immortal, leaving me with a way to revive Gogo should a spell get through.

Once out of MP (which took a half hour of fast-forwarding), it's GG.
