This is where the fun (if you're into pain and frustration) begins.

As it turns out, the fastest route through this segment is a "freestyling route", which means that one has to change directions WHILE running and not only after coming to a halt.

The main problem is the winding tunnel. One can get through it in a non-freestyling way, however, that route is far too long and wastes just too much time. Alternatively, one can move to the end of the train before jumping off of it. Doing so would have made this segment much easier as it forces one to go through only one screen (instead of 4) of the winding tunnel in order to arrive at the dead end. Unfortunately, going through the entire train is much (by around 10 seconds) slower than leaving it at the second earliest spot.

Still, the freestyling in this segment is, compared to what I fear I will feel compelled to do later, rather easy. I would call it "strictly onefold" freestyling as I need to change/press only button per freestyling.

On the other hand, there are 9 frame-perfect inputs to be performed in this segment. On top of that, the very end is quite close as well. I run into a wall and almost trigger a random battle by wasting steps.
