Was only able to get 'Expert' on this after multiple tries. Horrible FF13 realm synergy and no soul breaks for it's characters make things a lot more difficult..
The Memory Crystal III is what mattered most, though I don't like missing out on the major orbs..
Paradox Alpha uses mostly physical attacks, most which can inflict Sap.. minus the exception of Quake, the one magic which he seems to use most when he's preparing to use Ultimate Ground Slap. Breaking him out of the charge-up phase is what you need to do to prevent the skill from being used and fulfill the target score for it, which is where I kept failing.. I just couldn't seem to get the damage output done in time. Ultimate Ground Slap can't trigger more than once or the target score is lost on the 2nd usage of the attack.
The other target scores are to lower his physical and magic attack. Fullbreak or Multi-break dance are good since they'll lower resistance and defense at the same time, and the extra damage matters. Having a soulbreak or roaming warrior for damage boost and hastega is a good idea too, even though it didn't help me enough.
