Someone suggested a while ago, while I was playing through the New Threat Mod for FF7, that I also play the latest version (v1.2.1) of the Requiem Mod, a Hardcore Difficulty Mod, for Final Fantasy VIII. Among other things, the Requiem Mods halves the effect of all Junctions, it increases enemy stats, it changes several damage multipliers, it greatly reduces the usefulness of various commands, spells and Limit Breaks, it even removes some abilities from the game. As of the uploading of this video to YouTube, I still have not finished playing through the Requiem Mod and beating all of its bosses.
