After the Guadosalam scenes I headed back across the Moonflow. This video shows the much longer road on the South side as I head back to Djose to Steal some Petrify Grenades. Here you do need a LOT of luck to get through, the Ochus are quite annoying to deal with, and the 3x small fiend encounters are also problematic. One dumb thing I did was forget to buy enough Maps at the Mi'ihen Travel Agency. I wasted some Level 1 Key Spheres because of this, although it didn't end up costing me.

It took a number of attempts to get this recorded and I made some mistakes. I had a choice between throwing an item to kill the mole and throwing a Grenade and taking out the wolf and bug in the second encounter. The mole *can* one-shot Rikku (I actually forgot that when I recorded the other Moonflow video!), but the chance is only 1/16, while the wolf inflicts Sleep 10% of the time. Looking back, the Grenade was safer.

If Hazardous Shell doesn't inflict Poison on Ochu then you need to be careful managing its HP, because you want to win the fight with full OD, but you cannot afford to give it a turn when it's low health because of Ochu Dance. One fight I lost track of its HP and ended up without full OD, but got lucky with the next encounter and survived.
