In this video I explain the gear set mechanic that was added to FFXI. This is something I did not realize for a while when I returned to 11. It is extremely useful because it makes it so much easier to create gear swap macros. The old way required 1 gear swap per macro line which could result in multiple macros required for a single gear set. But now you can easily change ALL your gear with one macro line!
