FFXI Returning Players Guide: Walk of Echos
164In this video I explain how to do Walk of Echos. This event drops the items needed to unlock Empyrean Weaponskills. You need to farm 100 devious dice, 100 liminal residue and 30 coins of the type your weapon needs (see below).
You will need to do some Voidwatch to get to the point where you you can start unlocking Empyrean Weaponskills. Follow my Voidwatch Progression Guide here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhN1nDOk2z8
To get the Empyrean Weaponskill on any weapon you need to take the following steps:
1. Get a -1 weapon from the chest next to Magian Moogle.
2. Trade the weapon to the Magian Moogle to get the trial (there will be only 1 to choose).
3. Trade the weapon and 30 coins to the chest. (The type of coins needed will vary based on the weapon you are making. See list below.) Then trade the weapon to Moogle for next trial.
4. Trade the weapon and 100 devious dice to the chest. Then trade the weapon to Moogle for next trial.
5. Trade the weapon and 100 liminal residue to the chest. Then trade the weapon to Moogle.
6. Go to Walk of Echos and speak to ???. Select the weapon type that you have.
7. Trade your Magian Weapon to the ???.
8. Empyrean Weaponskill unlocked!
Coins Needed for Each Weapon:
Advancement - Hand-to-Hand, Axe, Polearm
Birth - Dagger, Scythe, Marksmanship
Decay - Great Sword, Great Katana, Club, Archery
Glory - Sword, Great Axe, Katana
Ruin - Staff
