In this episode, my Chocobo finally hits Rank 20. As I ranked my Chocobo as a damage dealer, upon learning the last ability unlock the last Barding that appears in the Appearance Gear option of the Companion interface.

To reset your Chocobo skills you can purchase a Reagan Pepper from your Grand Company for 48,000 Grand Company Seals.

If you want to level yours beyond Rank 10 you need to feed your Chocobo Thavnarian Onions which are obtained through Gardening. Currently, these are very expensive on the market board because they require Cross Breeding to grow.

Chocobo Leveling Methods:
1) Defeating a lot of monsters
2) Challenge Log - 20 monsters give you 5% bonus to your level, 100 monsters give you 10% bonus to your level for a total of 15% bonus available per week.
3) Chocobo Training - will cover in an upcoming video

I used the Challenge Log every week since release and also tried to always have my Chocobo summoned during Spiritbonding and it finally hit Rank 10.
