0We make it over to the Confederacy headquarters because we need a bigger ship to transport (hopefully) all the prisoners we're getting in the exchange. Yugiri and Aliphinaud go to check on escape routes from the exchange sites, should it be a bad time. Alisaie joins Hien and me to talk to the pirates.
The pirates are not upfront amenable to our requests. They ask us to inspect a ship they've got CLOSE to fully safe, meaning we'll all have to take a swim (possibly thinking Hien wouldn't do manual labor for what he's asking). Hien is HAPPY to get a cooling swim in. We, in total, find one cracked problematic plank on the ship. We also get to talk to a young man that joined the Confederacy only because his parents were both taken by the Empire.
Rasko (the pirate leader) says he'll allow the youth to rejoin his family in Doma if his parents are part of the exchange and he chooses to do so.
