FF14 is a subscription based game, but Yoshi-P (the game's producer and director) talked about if 90% of the playerbase want FFXIV to be a FTP game they would conser it. Sounds like solid business thinking. Last week MrHappy covered this over on this channel, but in this video I seek to ask another type of question. Is there a better system that FFXIV could use, other then the current subscription model, or a free to play/buy to play system?

Something along the lines of Dragon Quest X? Or another system all together?
