X'rhun knows where Lambard will strike and thinks we can adequately defend the target and the caravan they're attacking. Arya actually offers to stand in as the target/bait, which requires a SMALL makeover.
Lambard sees through it toward the end but the fight X'rhun wanted finally happens. Except, Lambard has a power X'rhun didn't know about that leaves him out of it entirely.
After 1 failure, not truly knowing all the damage I was about to take or how little Arya and I dished out, we succeed on round 2. Lots and lots of healing required...and keeping Arya out of AoEs.
