We tested Final Fantasy XV (FFXV) on both console and PC, using the Xbox One X to compare graphics settings between the two. This graphics deep-dive talks about subsurface scattering, physically-based rendering (PBR), NVIDIA GameWorks features (TurfWorks, HairWorks, etc.), and more. We primarily compare Xbox One X graphics settings to PC in two ways: One, we normalize the PC to equal the Xbox visually, determining what settings equivalence is; two, we set maximum graphics for FFXV on PC, then compare those with the high-res texture pack on vs. off.
