Even though the Final Fantasy 15 Multiplayer DLC expansion is quite a way off, Hajime Tabata has confirmed that there will be a beta prior to its launch to make sure everything runs smoothly. He didn't give any dates, but hopefully it's soon!

He also spoke about Ardyn Izunia, and how he wants to add more to Final Fantasy 15's story, relating to his past. And... how the most difficult part about turning Final Fantasy Versus XIII into Final Fantasy 15 was the hardware change from PS3 to PS4.
