NieR Automata has now been out for around a month and it's been able to absolutely eclipse previous sales records for the franchise.

The gameplay in NieR Automata allows it to stand out, but the story, from the various scenes with 2B, 9S and A2, all the way through to the ending and of course, the soundtrack... they create a special game. It's no surprise that it's managed to therefore sell over 1 million copies worldwide.
