Name: Title Theme
Game: Solstice: The Quest for the Staff of Demnos
Developer: Software Creations
Year of Release: 1990
Composer: Tim Follin

Yet another masterpiece from the 8-bit musical maestro Tim Follin, from a lesser-known puzzle-action game on the NES called Solstice, a classical wizards-and-warlocks game of playing as one good wizard recovering a staff to defeat an evil wizard.

The theme is literally spellbounding and maddeningly pushing the very limits of rhythm that the NES can even achieve, which is exactly what we expect from Tim Follin to create such a wonderfully poetic theme of magic and mystery that NEVER repeats for an entire goddamn THREE MINUTES, as you begin your quest to recover the Staff of Demnos.
As far as 8-bit music goes, this is truly a magnificent piece of skill to create such a variable theme from the NES that very few others could possibly achieve even with the sweeping technical prowess and creativity that Follin has.
