Name: Motomatic
Game: FreQuency
Developer: Harmonix
Year of Release: 2001
Composer: Tony Trippi
For those of you who know Guitar Hero, Harmonix were already in the process of making music games years beforehand with Amplitude and its predecessor FreQuency, a frantically-paced rhythm game dealing with the mixing of up to EIGHT separate tracks of a song.
While most of them are licensed, some songs were made by Harmonix themselves, such as the kickass-beat trip Motomatic by a former employee called Tony Trippi, a bitchin' drum-lead piece that has quite the bouncing pace to it.
On a related note, Tony Trippi composed the music of the Zelda CD-i games. Glad he went a step up after that business huh folks?
