The FI-03 Neptune aka the zombie sharks from Resident evil 1 and REmake Explained

The FI-3 Neptune was an experimental aquatic BOW developed by infecting a Great White Shark with the T-Virus. The fi3 neptune zombie shark was a byproduct of one of the Umbrella Corporations early attempts at making animal-based BOWs and was created with the Alpha Strain, a primitive version of the T-Virus.
The results from Neptune, however, were disappointing, with test subjects displaying only minimal physical mutations and little change in size, intelligence or behaviour, only showing a slight increase in aggression; they were deemed unviable as a Bioweapon and further research and production of the type ceased not long after.
All subjects were then disposed of apart from one individual, a pregnant female, which was kept for monitoring and to look into the possibility of creating self-fertilising BOWs as an alternative to cloning.
This Neptune had a total of 12 offspring, of which only 2 survived and were kept alongside her inside the Aqua Ring, an enclosure located beneath the Guardhouse which consisted of a large tank and control room.
During the viral outbreak at the Arklay Laboratory, the Aqua Ring was flooded and the Neptunes were free to roam where they pleased.
When Chris Redfield entered the Aqua Ring, he found Richard Aiken there, who pushed Chris out of the way of an attacking Neptune, saving him, but gets killed himself.
The Neptunes are then killed after the AquaRing is drained of water, and the Mother Neptune electrocuted.
