The Angels' new prospect gets back on the mound, looking to avenge his previous start, where he had to leave the game due to injury. He faces his team's toughest rivals in their division, the Texas Rangers. These teams have former teammates goes to each other, which makes their rivalry more fierce and intense.

Both teams have similar histories. Established as expansion franchises in 1961, the Los Angeles Angels have been based in Anaheim since 1966 while the Texas Rangers moved from Washington to Minnesota, finally settling down in Arlington in 1972. With a number of AL Pennants and West Division titles to their names, only the 2002 World Series Championship separates these two teams.
