Fiery Hortas & a Quick Dip In a Well—Ocarina of Time Ep. 10 | Casual Zelda With My Sister
1In this casual Let's Play series, my sister and I have interesting conversations inspired by experiencing Ocarina of Time with the fresh eyes of adulthood.
After grabbing a skulltula in a tree, I head to the Fire Temple, which I remember way better than I remembered the Water Temple (thankfully!). My sister thinks Torch Slugs look kind of like hortas from Star Trek: The Original Series, so she starts calling them that. Also, I walk into fire a lot. Like, a whole lot.
After receiving the Fire Medallion from Darunia, I go grab double magic from the Great Fairy. I then head to Kakariko Village, where I conduct a search for the cutscene trigger. During the cutscene, my sister points out something that should've been obvious, but that had never crossed my mind: Impa raised Zelda as a Sheikah from the time Zelda was about 10 years old (not to mention being her nanny before that). The two must be quite close!
Once I've learned the Nocturne of Shadow, I head back to the Temple of Time where I learn the Prelude of Light! I then finally become child Link once again, and make my way to Kakariko. I've got a well to plunder!
