Fighting Automatons In A Roguelike Deckbuilder | Arcane Path Demo Gameplay
1Hello everyone! Here we are with another demo part of the Steam Next Fest. This is Arcane Path, a roguelike deckbuilder that, honestly, felt... kinda bland. There wasn't anything particularly unique or engaging. The graphic design was good, but right from the start you feel like you are just playing default cards from other deckbuilders and, the saddest part, most of the reward didn't feel any better (with such a low variety on cards, seeing the same cards as rewards over and over and over again). The lack of descriptions in the path I take killed the experience for me, because that's something I usually put a lot of thought in, and here I was just going for random basically.
Like I always mention, this is just a demo, so you shouldn't crucify a game with it, but Arcane Path has a lot to add to make itself more interesting.
