Welcome to Age of Darkness: Final Stand! This game is still in early access so there is no story mode, just a map clear mode with difficulty settings. But that doesn't mean we can't have a good time playing it. It is very reminiscent of They Are Billions, maybe even partially inspired by it, but that's how I was recommended this game for their similarities. We start out with some basic resources and a Keep where we build our other buildings from. And this game has a day/night cycle where we can expand out during the day and defend at night when the monsters of this land become more active. What little description we do get is that the land has been taken over by darkness that has caused creatures named Nightmares to spawn. We are humanity's last hope in surviving the neverending onslaught or lest humans be forgotten to time forever.
