Fighting the USSR in Kravtsovka [WG:RD Campaign]
3In this Wargame: Red Dragon video, I continue my playthrough of the Bear vs. Dragon single player campaign. After some embarrassing setbacks in Naval Sector Bravo, the gameplay is back on the land in Kravtsovka where things go more in my favor. My Chinese units are a bit better than the USSR border regiment that I'm up against. However, as the campaign progresses, the units I am facing will become more lethal.
The plan for this battle was to destroy the enemy in the center of the map before isolating and defeating any movement out of the northeast. It was fairly easy to accomplish this in the center. My units found help from the fact that the USSR units are low veterancy and not very effective. Additionally, the enemy had almost no air defense artillery, so my bombers were able to use napalm very effectively against the USSR infantry. Although the USSR had lots of vehicles they could have employed, I managed to keep them penned in and thus I got a strong victory.
