507Fighting 2 Assault Mechs in a Light and destroy both? Yes, that's possible. In todays video I show you how. The Mech I am taking out for that is the Commando COM-3A in a Medium Pulse/SRM4 loadout. The Commando in general is a very fast and nimble Mech, which is a bit bigger than the Locust and does not have the amazing acceleration quirks but it runs at about the same speed and has a bit more weight and armor to work with.
This make the Mech a very good light Striker Mech. You can easily go in on already damaged targets and go for the kills. The SRM act as a nice burst damage weapon while your Medium Pulse Lasers deal a good amount of pinpoint damage to target weak spots and finish the job.
