Not Even Close! The Mid-Range Zeus ZEU-6S - Mechwarrior Online The Daily Dose #171
270Today I show a very asymmetric build for the Zeus ZEU6S that uses the power of energy weapons combined with the DPS of an Autocannon. Having 2 Large Pulse and 2 Medium Lasers already already brings you to a solid 32 damage. On top of that we add 10 more from an AC10 in the arm. This is an overall very balanced build in terms of range and heat management because you can fire the AC10 early on to soften your enemies armor up and in a brawl you can sustain the damage without overheating. Somewhere inbetween you use your lasers at about ~300m range.
The build is tilted towards the left side which makes peaking around corners very easy. Also, you have nothing super important in your right side so that you can use this as your shielding side. Just torso twist when you are getting shot at and thwist in when the enemies weapons are on cooldown.
