Fighting withdrawal - Halo Wars Gameplay Episode 13
Today me and the crew return to Halo Wars, a RTS game set in the Halo universe that follows the crew of the Human colony turned war ship Spirit of Fire as the fight to protect humanity from extinction at the hands of an intergalactic religious order known as the Covenant. In this episode, with the plan in motion to detonate the star in the middle of a world that the ancient forerunners had built, all to stop the Covenant from gaining the weapons and technology that would allow them to easily win the war, the Spirit of Fire tries to make its escape. Unfortunately, the entrance way that they came through has one of those doors that auto locks behind you, so a ground army has to be sent in beforehand to open the door before the star explodes or everyone ends up dead. The only problem is that both the Covenant and a voracious alien species that will later be known as the Flood are both present and are actively trying to stop us. Still, with liberal use of capital weapons, some off map artillery, and elite infantry units dropped from the sky, we should prevail. Shame about Red team though, but Spartans go missing all the time. Right? Enjoy the finale of Halo Wars.
