I was going for the speedrun achievement for sub 1 hour on this difficulty, it's not really competitively fast enough for speedrun.com, but was good enough for the achievement. I picked Aggressive and followed WR pick/removal/upgrade order for the most part, I don't think this is the easiest way to clear purist but it does seem really fast. Generally, it seems you want to slim your deck down to just double damage and high damage cards and enough movement to get around, then go around one-shotting most enemies. Note that in order to get all the animations to go this fast, I'm holding down Space bar literally the entire time, wish there was a setting to just toggle faster animations but it's better than nothing.

The game is fundamentally fun, like a roguelike deckbuilder Into the Breach with an action movie setting. It has some weird labelling inconsistencies that made learning it a bit frustrating and some silly grind for achievement completion, but I really enjoyed it overall. Purist difficulty means that you have no guaranteed movement card draw, and there are no undoes or retries, so if you don't draw well sometimes you just take a hit and sometimes you just die. This makes movement card ratio in your deck extra important, and some kind of enhancement like emergency move is really nice for consistency.

"Purity" - Complete a full run on Purist difficulty
