Fijits are an animatronic dancing toy that came out last year and recently was voted the best girls toy of the year (TOTY Awards). This year at Toy Fair Mattel unveiled two new Fijit Friends. Newbies are the smallest and can sing songs, alone, or with other Newbies, each singing a different part of the same song. Yippits are dancy creatures that respond to sounds from other Fijits or claps from its owner. Fijits launched in 2011 and cost $52.99. Newbies are available as of February 2012 for $17.99, and Yippits will come out in June 2012 for $37.99. Suggested ages 6 and up.
