Not long after the most heroic bear-and-bird duo in history triumphed over Gruntilda for a fourth time, an air of mischief hangs over Spiral Mountain once again.
True to her word, Robot Gruntilda has devised a ghastlier game than ever before. She sneaks into town while Banjo and Kazooie are napping in the midday sun, and warps the unsuspecting shaman Mumbo Jumbo right inside her witchy brain, where she’ll attempt to absorb his powers and use them to magic herself a beautiful new body.
Just before her luminous green portal fades for good, Banjo, Kazooie and the whole gang figure it must be important and jump through before they have a chance to wonder what it actually is. From there, the honey bear and his trusty bird must collect more random objects from every corner of the mind and memory of their greatest adversary, to unlock new areas, track down their friends, and stop the devious Gruntilda from staging her most outrageous comeback yet…
