The video definitely glitched,I KNOW it wasn't supposed to be this short. Here's the rest of what I had to say; This is completely against every other instance of Ping Pong with boss fights,it’s the definition of unintuitive!Fortunately, not only does the energy ball change colors every time you hit it to indicate how close you are to this being over, and it feels excitingly tense getting closer and closer to the boss getting contact damage potentially as you keep hitting the balls back at him,but it just takes ONE success at tennis to get him to go into the wall–that was anticlimactic. At which point Zelda gives you the Silver Arrows.Oh,I mean Light Arrows, because fuck AlttP apparently. And here is the LAMEST version of the Light Arrows ever!Because it only works in a wall in the final boss fight of the game.An item that one-shots enemies?!I could’ve USED that in Lorule where everything’s a brick wall of health! The cyclops, I could’ve obliterated those! They still take 4 hits even with the Golden Sword!Zelda telling you that this bow is filled with the power of the Triforce is redundant since you just learned that in the Item Get textbox.I was expecting the arrow to one-shot Ganon,or stun him so I could defeat him in one go.Instead, first I shoot him in the front multiple times, at which point he goes out of the wall, wastes my time with sending darkness attacks from the wall and floor, and then I’m forced to repeat the tennis because padding. Then I go into the wall, and since he charges at me and sends me out of the wall,I had to fuse in front of his back to shoot that. In the next tennis segment, I’m overwhelmed by TWO energy balls at once! You know, it’s a little hard to inch forwards and swing the sword at every opportunity at the same time! You’re not exactly gifted with the cutting grass attack like in Twilight Princess! Final wall-fusing.You have to think to fire the arrow the wrong way to hit Yuga in the wall.Well, that was more fair than AlttP’s final boss, there was an actual challenge to the tennis, but it wasn’t fun.Okay, so finally, here’s the ending.Zelda understands that Hilda would attempt anything to save her kingdom, and Ravio shows up out of complete fucking nowhere. Did he have a wall-fusing bracelet himself all along? Hidden under the sleeves of his ridiculous outfit? The only foreshadowing to Ravio being Lorule Link – who cooly enough has black hair like Dark Link – is that he wears the bunny costume, and Link turns into a bunny in the Dark World in AlttP. Ravio explains his side of the story and somehow manages to somehow convince Hilda to let her kingdom die with no Triforce. It would’ve been better if Zelda just told Hilda “ hey, I’ll give you your Triforce back, “ or to keep the surprise, Zelda and Link ran off while Ravio was telling Hilda to calm down. It makes me happy seeing Lorule get its Triforce back, and it’s cool that it’s upside-down. And that’s it, the game’s over! A Link Between World isn’t terrible, its dungeons are way better than the bland “ push the floor-switch “ ones of AlttP, these dungeons actually make me think and try to figure them out, and they’re creative using items for all sorts of different things. And I like its items, like the Sand Rod and Tornado Rod that takes advantage of the greater focus on elevation for this game. But the game’s bogged down by Scrappy Mechanics AND IS TOO BLOATED. Nintendo has no idea what was good about AlttP, its simplicity. They just made a game wearing its shell.
