Final fantasy 12 playthrough part 62 with live commentary
3Today we get the final loot needed to make the tornesol the serpentarius......AND THEN WE MAKE THE TOURNESOL!!! AND THE MASAMUNE!!!...and do 2 hunts to see how badass these weapons are!!
The serpentarius is the EASIEST LOOT TO MAKE!!
Too make 3 serpentarius you need 12 snake skins, 6 serpent eyes and high arcana!!
The snake skins can be stolen and dropped from the Wildsnake in giza plains during the dry season it is found in Toam Hills of Giza Plains during the Dry. From the south of the map, the player must head to an enclave to the east of Toam Hills, where a lone Slaven sleeps. Just before the Slaven's lair, there is tall dry grass at the right where the Wildsnake shall ambush the party, steal from it then kill it you might get one snakk skin from stealing and the other one when it's dead!! then just zone out 2 screen and rince and repeat until you get 12 snake skins!!
The serpent eyes can be dropped by the Basilisk at the feywood in the White Magick's Embrace, Ice Field of Clearsight and The Edge of Reason areas it's amongraph drop and averry rare drop....but it's not as time consuming as you think the percentage is a bit higher then the hell gates flames!! so you should getthem in no time!! you can also get one from the marrilith hunt so you actually only need to get five from the Basilisks.
...I already told you about the high arcana if you have 3 AND haven't sold any then your good to go!!...i fact you shouldn't have sold ANY of the loot I got for making the tournesol otherwise this trick get...complicated!!
OK!! now for the moment of truth firstly make the 2 gemsteels in the bazzar by selling Damascus Steel x2, Hell-Gate's Flame x2, Scarletite x1 THEN buy the item in the bazzar and do the same thing again you should now have 3 gemsteels...why sell them like this and not all at once.....BECAUSE THE BAZZAR DOESN'T LET YOU HAVE THE SAME ITEM TWICE ON THE SCREEN EVEN IF YOU CA N MAKE IT MULTIPLE TIMES!! so do EXACTLY what I do...otherwise you've just wasted your loot!!!!!!!!!
....sigh...ok now for the tricky part you can actaully make the empyreal soul and the serpentarius AT THE SAME TIME!! since they are both different loot!!
Follow these instructions TO.THE.LETTER and you should be fine!!
Now, if you have 3 High Arcana in your inventory, and are
positive that you've sold none to the Bazaar yet, then sell one
now, along with 4x Snake Skin, 2x Serpent Eye (or 1 if you sold
the one fro the Marilith Hunt), 1x Soul Powder (or none if you
sold the one from Ixtab Hunt), and 2x Wargod's Band.
Now you should have both empyreal soul and serpentarius at the bazzar they are called something else but it THEM!...THEN just repeat the last paragraph again to get yet another empyreal soul and serpentarius, then you can sell 4 snake skins, 2 serpent eyes and your last arcana to get the final serpentarius!!
...ALRIGHT now we can make the trounesol BUT WAIT what about the masamune you can make that ALONG with the tournesol BUT only if you have 3 orichalcum and 2 mallets if not then GET them I already showed you how to get these though...anyway sell the loot you just made in this order:
serpentarius x3, empyreal soul x3, gemsteel x3, orichalcum x3 and mallet x2....with that you should get both tournesol and masamune!!
We did the hardest thing to make in the ENTIRE game is made!!!
....NOW FOR HUNTS LOL!!
These 2 hunts are in the necrohol of nabudis the first one is goliath which is easy to get 2 IF you activated the nabreas deadlands save crystal then it's just afew zones away to the mark in the necrohol of nabudis this guy has STRONG magic attacks so have shell on your party...but besides that not very hard just a bit time consuming!
The other hunt deathscythe which is in the Cloister of the Highborn area of the Necrohol of Nabudis, to get it to appear you need to have one of your party members hp to be below 10% as soon as your hp is 10% deathscythe will pop out of nowhere to attack you...once again not that hard just annoying it will make itself immune to physical but only for a short time!!
PS:With the tournisol made we can finally continue with abunch of sidequests like more hunts or even explroing new areas!!
