About Toxikk Deception
Toxikk Deception is an electro-industrial band based in Bangor, Maine. The band was formed in 2014 by lead vocalist, musician, and producer Violet Mallory (AKA Thomas Mallory), and has featured members from his multiple side projects; such as Red Acid and the short lived Mimikk project.
Their music is described as dark, aggressive, and psychedelic, and fuses many genres together. Song topics generally consist of darker themed subjects. The project started in Fall of 2014 and is led by members Violet Mallory and Chris Vaughn. Violet is the producer, instrumentalist, composer and vocalist, Chris Vaughn writes the lyrics and some additional composing for each song, and live synths. DSBP Records makes and distributes the CDs + merch. They have released over 10 studio albums and have been featured on 11 various Record Label Sampler CDs, as well as remixes with bands in the scene: Diverje, Asylum Black, Blue Ant, Ultimate Soldier, Divine Virtual Reality, Project Overdose & 40 Octaves Below.
