Final Fantasy 13-2 Boss 12: Zenobia
0Hoo boy this fight can be ROUGH. First off whenever she brings up the barrier do not attack her. Not only does she negate damage but you want to be careful with screen nukes because hitting her barrier too much will cause her to counter for random damage but I've seen it do almost 80% of my health and it does a lot of wound damage as well. When the barrier is up she's basically immune to everything and the tentacles can heal her. They also spam basic attacks or use Ruinga. When she drops the barrier you only have to deal with one target and can debuff her but she has increased aggression and will get spam happy with her melee attacks. After this another one bites the dust but this time it's not actually our fault and it's kinda sad.
On a slightly unrelated note there is a Graviton Core you can get right before this boss with the escalator. Normally you need to find a switch to get it but if you're playing as Serah her jumps can out pace the speed of the escalator and you can get Graviton Core Delta easy and early without having to put up with this hellish area.
