Final Fantasy 4 Pixel Remaster No random encounter enemy kills Part 1 Very Fast/Active 1.02
0I have done this challenge run on the SNES and PS1 version before. I actually did this in my first playthrough of the Pixel Remaster months ago. The game can be beaten by running away from every random encounters. The only enemies you can kill are the ones you can't runaway from, such as bosses and enemies inside treasure chests. A good strategy for this is to kill the temporary party members. The only permanent party member that needs to stay dead is Rydia. She will slowdown Cecil, Kain, Rosa and Edge from leveling up. She also level up slower than everyone in the game and the final boss can be beaten without her, so there's no reason to waste experience points on her. There was an update for the Pixel Remaster that reduced the experience points gained from enemies. Leveling up is still faster than the PS1 version, to the point I don't need to farm experience points on security eye in the Tower of Babil like in the PS1. The PS1 version is still the hardest when doing this challenge run.
