In this version I'm free to just kill the security eye first and then kill the enemy it just summon second, just like in the SNES. In the PS1 version however, if I didn't farm on these enemies I would end up underleveled. This what makes the Pixel Remaster easier than the PS1 version in this challenge run. That Barbariccia fight was long and it was the same in the PS1 version. The Pixel Remaster gives you experience points for the first form of Dr Lugae while the SNES and PS1 didn't.
