Final fantasy 8 randomizer makes the following things random (in my playthrough anyway):
- Bosses (all bosses will appear at least once for me)
- Items (shops, junk shop, drops, mugs)
- Magic (draw points, draws from monsters including cut and slot spells!)
- GF Abilities (Guaranteed basics as who wants to play without being able to draw... no thanks)
- Rare card locations
- Music

Zell leads the team and tries to break into Lunatic Pandora only to get kicked out straight away. We then find ourselves in space with a lot of cards to play!

(If you don't want midi music, there is a link under where it says requirements. Follow instructions there and you can get rid of the horrible midi music and have the classic ps1 music, it still works with Maelstrom)
