Final Fantasy 9 Learning Abilities
4Abilities are learned permanently by gaining AP in battle while specific Weapons, Helms, Gloves, Armor and Accessoies are Equipped. If you remove that weapon etc.. for a better piece with a new ability before the last ability is fully learned that ability will be unequipped in the Ability menu and you will get your Magic Stones back. Each Ability requires a different amount of stones to equip so choose wisely after learning lots. **FYI** If following my guide i learned my abilities while farming Tents, Ore and Phoenix downs while taking advantage of the spring that restores HP & MP check video for more details in other video description- link below.
