This video compares head-to-head the graphics, load times, and audio of the original GameCube Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles and the new remaster on Nintendo Switch. The biggest takeaway is the vastly longer load times in the Remastered Edition for just slightly improved resolution. There are also weird audio timings in the voiceovers and some stuttering present in the Remastered Edition. Overall, the GameCube version is still the fastest and most comfortable to play, even as far as the menus, and many seem to prefer the original theme song better than the new recording. Factoring in how co-op multiplayer (the entire selling point of this game) is removed in the Remaster, it's not even a contest: GameCube with 4 Gameboy Advances and 4 friends is the ultimate Crystal Chronicles experience. Hopefully Square-Enix patches this game hard, but I wouldn't count on it.
