Final Fantasy: Dawn of Souls is a remake of Final Fantasy I & II for Game Boy Advance. This remake is somewhat similar to Final Fantasy Origins released for the original Playstation a few years prior. This remake features improved graphics and revamped battle system which makes the game many times easier than the NES original.
Final Fantasy I features 4 new dungeons unique to Game Boy Advance port. In my opinion these dungeons offer little value but a tedious never-ending sequence of random encounter with no plot.
These additional dungeons were uploaded as separate mini-walkthroughs:

Walkthrough Notes:
- Obtained Excalibur and Masamune. Best vanilla in-game weapons.
- Early Job upgrade. Happens when you visit Citadel of Trials before Mount Gulg. Doing so adds challenge to the game but it yields superior character stats long term.
- This game has two highly missable events that require you go in the middle of a desert just because 8-bit video game logic (refer to Airship and Caravan timestamps).
- This is a longplay. I recorded this game in real life in 5 sessions. No saves during a session. Each session ends after a fiend has been defeated. Every random encounter left intact. All micromanagement left intact (usually after a fiend).
- Most random NPC dialogue was avoided by choice. I only talk to important NPCs that move the plot (or if they say something funny).
- I tried my best to move as efficiently as possible avoid going same place more times than I need to.
- Timestamps can't cover every minute event - there's just too many. Every cave has a key item you need to advance somewhere else. First half of the game has more scripted events than the second half even though my timestamps may suggest otherwise.
- Some treasure chests are 'interconnected'. You pick one chest it unlocks another chest somewhere else, but you get the same item regardless where you open it. Some treasure chest contain junk like 10 gil or cloth armor placed somewhere in a final dungeon. If you see me avoid a treasure chest most likely its not worth it.
- Some random encounters aren't random but rather pre-programmed tiles that trigger encounters each time you step on one.
