Tips: These campaign battles could range from super easy to super frustrating depending on your starting hand. You may restart each round until your opponent has less than 7 cards in its starting hand, thus giving you an easy win. I tried to keep the game fair and avoid obvious advantage / disadvantage scenarios.
Story mode decks are pre-set and contain many cards not available in multiplayer / random battles.
Battle 1 - You have a deck of high-cost green creatures versus a deck of low cost eldrazi creatures. Focus on building lands. Easy and straightfoward duel.
Battle 2 - Your opponent has lots of green creatures, some of them have landfall trait. In contrast you have to rely on sorceries and special abilities to draw extra cards. This battle can take forever but the time is on your side. Play defense, grab extra cards and take down your opponent with sorceries.
Battle 3 - Typical Chandra / red deck duel. Play defense, deal damage with sorceries, don't let your opponent build up cards on the field. Time doesn't play in your favour.
Battle 4 - You have a mix of mulitcolor lands and creatures. You have to play aggressive and win early otherwise you'll get overwhelmed with stronger creatures.
Battle 5 - Special rules battle unique to this campaign. You get exact same starting hand every time you play this battle. This means that the first 4 or 5 turns will be almost identical for every game played. Keep focus on drawing extra cards. Some enemy creatures generate mana. Try to deny them this ability early in the game and you will delay waves of overpowered enemies by a turn or two. This is one of the most enterntaining battles in the whole game (IMHO).
