This is video #26 in my playthrough of Final Fantasy II on the Nintendo GameBoy Advance. This game is part of the Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls compilation.

Previously, the party defeated the Emperor in the Cyclone, but unfortunately the Dark Knight, the party's friend Leon, has taken the reins of the Palamecian Empire! Now, it is time to mount an aerial assault of Castle Palamecia and give the Dark Knight a stern talking-to. Fortunately, Cid willed his airship to the party.

In the southeast of the world, the party lands on top of Castle Palamecia (time 0:32). They arrive in the southwest of floor 7F in the castle. Look out for the Imperial Shadow, a spectral copy of the Emperor.

The party enters the northwest room (time 2:41). However, they find a trap door that drops them all the way to floor 1F! Drat. They land in the northwest corner.

To the south of their landing spot, a chest contains a Diamond Cuirass (time 2:49).

To the east, the party climbs the first stairway they find to floor 2F (time 4:48).

Southwest of the stairway, a chest contains an Hourglass (time 5:38).

The party backtracks down to floor 1F (time 5:45).

In the southwest corner, a chest contains Garlic (time 7:32).

The party takes the center stairway up to floor 2F (time 7:38).

In the southeast, a chest contains an Ether (time 8:19).

In the northeast, a chest contains a Buckler (time 11:14).

From the southwest, the party goes east and takes the stairway to floor 3F (time 14:58).

In the southwest of 3F, a chest contains a Thunder Spear (time 17:22). It is protected by a monster-in-a-box encounter with an Imperial Shadow.

In the southeast, the party ascends to floor 4F (time 21:40).

West of the stairway, a chest contains a Saint's Spirit (time 24:21).

In the west of the central east-west hallway, a chest contains Sleepgrass (time 24:27).

From the southwest, the party can go east through a door to a treasure trove (time 29:05). The chests contain a Healing Staff, a Mage's Staff, and a Wizard's Staff.

In the northeast, the party goes upstairs to floor 5F (time 31:54).

Next time, they will continue their progress through Castle Palamecia.
