Final Fantasy IX Playthrought Part 39 Excalibur and Chocobo Beaches side quests
3Final Fantasy IX PS5. No Commentary.
To start the Excalibur quest speak to the old man near the library on the third floor in Daguerreo.
Then you must buy the following four key items from the Treno Auction House: Doga's Artifact, Une's Mirror, Griffin's Heart and Rat Tail.
And sell them to the following people in Treno:
Doga's Artifact to the Scholar in the Synthesis Shop (take the first offer).
Une's Mirror to the Nobleman outside the Cafe Carta (take the second offer).
Griffin's Heart to the Adventurer outside the Cafe Carta (take the second offer).
Rat Tail to the Adventurer outside the Cafe Carta (take the second offer).
After the items are sold in Treno, the Magical Fingertip will appear in the auction house during the endgame. Buy it and give it to the Old Man outside the inn in Daguerreo.
For the Chocobo Beaches quest, return to the Chocobo’s Paradise after you have completed the Chocograph side quest, the Chocobo Dive Spots and the Chocobo Mountain Cracks. Fat Chocobo will talk about visiting each of the worlds beaches and restoring them. There are 21 beaches to find in total. After that you can press the "Circle Button" on any beach to completely restore the HP and MP of your party members.
