Final Fantasy IX PS5 - Part 12 - Cleyra's Trunk
0Again, not needed to grind here, but I would recommend it as there are several boss fights coming up and without much abilities learned or higher stats, they will give you a lot of trouble. The trunk is a perfect area to start leveling, however, I would recommend near the ladder before climbing up to Cleyra. You will always fight either the giant black bird, or three bee-like creatures that can all be killed with Blizzara from Vivi and a heavy-hitter like Steiner.
You don't need to grind heavily, but enough so that your characters are in the mid-teens by this point, otherwise the upcoming battles will present quite a bit of trouble.
Also, make sure to grab the chests along the way as there is some pretty good gear in a couple of them.
