I waited for the 10th summon board to come along before trying this. Probably wasn't necessary but it didn't hurt. Palom keeps the orb in check fairly well, along with Kefka's speed debuff. Apart from that it's just a matter of plinking away at their big pile of health; WoL mitigates basically all danger.
