For those unaware by now, "The Lion War of the Lions" is a mod for the original PSX release trying to bring as much content from the War of the Lions versions but with the better performance and the in-game events instead of FMV cutscenes.
The Lion War of the Lions is built with "The Lion War" mod but aims to bring even more adjustments from WotL, including:
* The new translation to skills, events, items and even spell quotes that have been translated in english based on the original Japanese version (some adjustments had to be made due to limitations on text space from Japanese to English).
* All gameplay adjustments made from WotL to existing characters like for Cloud have been made (which significantly nerfs his attributes), while others like Meliadoul, Rapha, Marach, Reis and Balthier had their skills adjusted as much as possible to work as in WotL but with some minor limitations due to the modding tools available.
* Safeguard has been added to Elmdore, Aliste and Bredmondt as it was in War of the Lions.
* JP Cost for Job Levels, Abilities, and CT adjusted based upon the War of the Lions release.
* The Dark Knight Job has some minor unique adjustments as part of The Lion War mod. His Signature skills are affected by Low Faith, and he has two new abilities: Adeptness (instead of Vehemence) and Sturdy (instead of HP Boost). It also retains the same requirements from The Lion War mod (Knight 8, Black Mage 8) (TLW Legacy Feature)
* Ashley Riot (originally from Vagrant Story) is available instead of Luso Clemens (from FFTA2) (TLW Legacy Feature)
* No additional items have been made available, as currently there is no feasible way to add items without removing others in the original PSX release.
* Cloud can use his Limit skill with any Swords, not only the Materia Blade (TLW Legacy Feature)
* The Barrage skill is affected by Evasion. The elemental guns animations won't play during a barrage but the elemental properties and randomness of the damage still applies. (TLW Legacy Feature)
