2As you explore the Sealed Temple, head for the Hall of the Watchman and speak to the person who will give you the Softening Serum. This item will heal a petrified statue at the arena area of the temple, but you have to be fast to get there as there is a time limit of 5 minutes before the serum spoils. If you get to the petrified statue on time, it will turn out to be a Grand Aevis. During the battle, the Grand Aevis will be accompanied by a duo of Dark Elementals. The elementals will summon a white wind to heal the Aevis and the elementals themselves. Even if you defeat the elementals, the Aevis will revive them to make them return to battle. As for the Grand Aevis, it has a wide variety of moves, including a cloud of zombie powder that could turn the fighter into a zombie. If it summons tornadoes, your entire team will have a single digit of health left. Poisonous breaths and wing strikes poison the target. Having your entire team wear Angel Rings prevents them from being turned into zombies, and be sure to summon a Golem to get a little more defense buff.
