Final Fantasy V playthrough Part 65 {Sealed Temple Part 2}
0More of the Sealed Temple Bonus Dungeon. The door near the entrance is unlocked,but the room inside is blocked by a petrified monster. You may recall meeting an NPC who claimed to have a potion that could cure any petrification. Go back and ask him for it,but he'll say that it'll only last 5 minutes. Make sure you have the Read Ahead skill on to help avoid battles,or Flee to run from them. Return to the monster in time,and it'll attack upon being freed. BOSS FIGHT: Grand Aevis. It's accompanied by 2 Dark Elementals. They're mainly a nuisance,but try to keep someone on duty to sweep them away since they'll keep respawning. Grand Aevis meanwhile will use the typical Aevis attacks,like Breath Wing and Maelstrom/Tornado to bring the party to critical health. Moving on to the next area afterwards. Next up is a maze-like area with many chests. If you get stuck,find moving ropes to grab onto to go up or down. Try to find the Apocalypse Sword down here,it's great! The next area is another waterfall cave. Head to the bottom to find a door blocked by a magic seal. Use a switch to stop a waterfall for a moment and quickly dash left to find an area with an NPC. Here the guy will mention a strong mechanical beast to the left,and a mighty dragon to the right. Below is the way to the master of the Void,but to make the portal open,a monster in a cell must be killed 1st,which he'll give you the key for. There's also a save point to the north in this room. headed left first. Beware of the robots here,they're all Omega clones and just as strong as him! You can Flee from them though and make them disappear from the area. Upstairs is a switch that opens the magically sealed door you passed earlier,and another switch opens a door in this area. Now head back near the start of the Temple,and head left to find the monster in a cell. Time to fight! BOSS FIGHT: Archeodemon. Looks like Twintania. Unlike him though,this guy absorbs Holy. Whenever he's attacked,he casts Death on himself and respawns with full HP. To counter this,cast Reflect on him so it bounces onto your party. It usually doesn't hit,but sometimes it will. Other than that,he'll spend most of his time trying to Drain your HP. Once he's dead,the path to Enuo shall open!
