As you explore the Torna Canal, a whirlpool will appear. Karlabos will appear from the whirlpool. During the battle, Karlabos will spin its tail like a screw, leaving a fighter with a single digit of health. Karlabos can also paralyze the target when landing physical attacks. If one of your fighters has the Black Mage job, cast a lightning spell to do more damage. Having a Blue Mage perform a goblin punch will be the most effective. After the battle, Syldra will jump into the whirlpool to prevent the ship from being dragged in.
